Pete Banks has been djing for 24 years were he learned from his father when he was 10 years old Dread began to play breakbeats in 1991 and it grew to Jungle and now Drum and Bass. Dread was on labels like strictly underground state side, and played on radio sations like 88.5 and the Womb in Miami. Dread has released vinyil with top producers like JuJu and Gridlok as well as providing insperational guidance with up and coming artist like Kano and coincidentially Gridlok as he was breaking through. His loyalty to his home Florida scene has brought him many partnerships and he has played alongside the likes of countless respected pioneers. DJ Dread has held many affiliations, with record releases on Gridlok's Technorganic to a future releases on Dark Wax in the UK and His collaborations with Kano as Konkrete Symphony.
